How can you help an older person?
There are a wide range of ways that you can offer support and reassurance for older people with no-one to turn to. You can select to offer support in which ever ways you would like to do so. These include but are not limited to:
• Home Visits
• Telephone Befriending • Supporting A Person With Dementia • Letter Writing Support • Essential List Shopping • Computer Use/Mobile Phone Support • Occasional Dog Walking • Fundraising • Driving (medical appointments or shopping trips) • Library Collections And Returns You can also work within the Memory Groups, Active Networks and Digital Inclusion groups of Age UK IW. |
